Hey guys, I know most of you have been following me for some time now, but for all of the newbies, allow me to reintroduce myself:
I’m Charlo Greene and the content I share is for the people who are fighting – for better relationships, better business, a better life.
Are you a fighting too? Join my weekly newsletter for weekly tools and tips that’ll equip you to live the life you deserve. And grab a copy of my book HERE: https://amzn.to/2ulD706
I want you to know that the information I share comes from a place of experience:
I’ve been where you are.
I know what it feels like to feel stuck and under-utilized. The numbing sensation of feeling like you could be doing more, and the frustration of being uncertain how to take that step forward. So, I’m going to teach you how to access your best self, and how to direct your energies and your focus to follow your passions and dreams and turn them into something concrete.
I know what it feels like to be trapped by circumstance, or at the very least, to believe that you are trapped by circumstance. I know how it feels to be stranded at the shore staring out into the horizon of this great, big world and feeling positive that you’ll never see it. But that’s not true and my content, at it’s core, is all about living free. Casting off the shackles of self-doubt and derision and sailing out into that horizon.
I’ve experienced pain on every level imaginable and I know what it means to hold a grudge, to want to see justice delivered. And I know how that eats away at your soul. I’m going to teach you to let go. Not to quit or to acquiesce, but to put pain in its place and use it to fuel your progress, not your stagnation.
My life story is one giant lesson plan on how to be your best self because I had to learn the hard way. But every sucker punch and low blow life dealt me has taught me how to fight back and if you’re in the 12th round and you’re not sure you’ve got it in you to throw another punch, let me be your coach. Let me prove to you that if I can do it, so can you. I want you to live free of the misconception that anyone but you is in control of your life.
This is my flashlight shining in the black pitch of the caves where you’re sitting. The same caves I used to sit in. This is the rally cry you’ve been waiting for even if you didn’t realize you were waiting for it.
My hope is that you will be able to use the information I share to help you achieve greatness. To achieve your goals – to make something out of nothing even in the direst of circumstances.
My website, my videos, my book, are all about starting a fire with ice. Helping you to push through to something big when it feels like you’ve got nothing to use to get yourself there.
The problem with some people is that they feel they lack the necessary tools. They feel lost and alone and like they’re stuck – frozen in their circumstances with no way out. No matches. No flint. No sticks to rub together… So, how do you start that fire when you’re surrounded by nothing by ice? The suggestion from the Alaskan girl? Use that ice.
You see, you’ve got to use what resources you have, and when you find yourself frozen in place, ice can be one of those resources. Ice may sound like the most ridiculous tool for fire building – I mean, it’s literally the opposite of fire, right? It would be like making a fire out of nothing – which is exactly the point I’m making. When used correctly, it can be done.
A chunk of ice can be rubbed down into a sphere, then held up to the sun, much like a glasses lens or magnifying glass – allowing the sun’s raise to pierce through and concentrate to one specific spot, resulting in fire.
That is one of a million analogies that prove it’s not about where you start or what resources you have – it’s about your resourcefulness and your will to keep pushing.
My life has been one series of battles after another and I know better than anyone how it feels to get kicked in the stomach, stand up, and get kicked again. There are always obstacles and there’s always heartbreak and there’s always pain, but there’s triumph and fulfillment too if you’re willing to trudge forward for it.
So, before we get into the nitty gritty of it all, let me explain my thinking behind this guide to life. Telling my story is secondary. For me, writing this book is a bit of a race against time.
If you’re familiar with my story, you may remember the “F it, I quit” incident. That moment set off a whirlwind of repercussions I am both proud and frightened of. My state government has been working to silence me since that moment, and if I lose at trial this Fall (2018), they could lock me away for fifty-four years. But for now, I’ve got the freedom to take my message and stand behind it firmly and without fear, and part of doing that is spreading my knowledge and understanding wherever I can.
So lets get started.
